Russia's Leningradskaya AES-2 nuke launches 6th power unit

MOSCOW, Mar 22 (PRIME) -- The sixth unit of the Leningradskaya AES-2 nuclear power plant has been launched, Rosenergoatom, affiliate of nuclear power corporation Rosatom, said in a statement on Monday.

"Unit number 6 of Leningradskaya AES with reactor VVER-1200 was launched in industrial use on March 22.  A corresponding order was signed by CEO of holding Rosenergoatom Andrei Petrov," the statement read.
